I recently joined Hana's market tour and cooking class, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Initially, I didn’t expect to discover as much as I did, especially since I’d attended other food tours before. Hana’s deep knowledge of the market and passion for Spanish food made all the difference. She knew the best spots for each item and took me to a local churros spot that I still crave—they were delicious! Her understanding of Spanish cuisine and culture was apparent, and her experience in Barcelona gave a unique perspective. Hanna was very knowledgeable about the market and Spain in general. She was very sweet and hospitable. The food was super authentic and we even had more left for leftovers. This tour was really awesome and I recommend everyone to try it out.

Hana was very friendly and met us on time with a GuruWalk sign. She did not make us feel rushed like other tours or like we needed to skip things if we asked too many questions. We had a great simple meal at her home. Which I think was a bonus to see inside a small affordable living space in Spain. She taught us how to make a simple meal with 3 ingredients and provided sparkling Champagne. All included on our free tour!! 😳 We walked to 2 markets to see the difference between the tourist market and the local market. At the end of the tour, Hana took us to a Churros and Chocolate Shop called Be chocolat that was excellent. This was obviously paid on our own- 1 order is enough for 2-3 people. It was fun to spend the morning with Hana. No other “free tour” I’ve been on ever included a meal and champagne. Of course we tipped her appropriately for the experience. I’ve read the other reviews. If you actually have a complaint about this free tour, that says more about the customer than Hana. She is easy going and flexible and allows it to be your tour. Her flat was clean and Hans was professional at all times.
