When Juan told me to look for a person with a black backpack I laughed because every other person has one. For example, Our previous Guru had a red hat, another a yellow umbrella. This tour was kind of unnecessary because we started at the Iguana park, walked across to the church, thru city hall&along the river walk which you do not need a guide to do.
Juan is very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy the tour and his insight.

This is my first time in Ecuador; extremely happy Juan was my guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, personable and patient as I sometimes lagged behind the group, taking pictures and reading inscriptions. He also offered to show me the way back to my hotel as it was getting late and I found out Uber was sometimes unreliable; he did this at no extra charge.
