Hello, My Name is Matteo Miano and since 2014 I work as a licenced tourist guide in Sicily.
I studied philology at the University of Catania, Athens and Cyprus and worked in Italy and abroad.
I really love the city in which I live, and I like to show it in its everyday life, from the popular markets to the elegant squares and streets of the old town. I like the idea of telling places, not just describing them. I do not just list the unmissable places of Catania or where to eat the most popular "arancino". I prefer to dwell on something more subjective: for example, the feelings that each place could leave you. I like to listen to the needs of the visitor, support what he wants to do and optimize the time and experience of his trip to Catania.
