This walking tour was good. Our guru Gloria was knowledgeable, informative and overall delightful.
Gloria was an amazing host. She was very informative and very warm. She showed me to several important sites in Kigali, brought me to eat delicious food and local drink, and facilitated doing motobike taxis, something I wanted to do but was a bit nervous to attempt on my own. I highly recommend her and this tour!
I have taken many tours all over the world and this was maybe the worst. While the guide was very nice, she provided almost no information and could not answer questions like when Kigali was founded. We went to a couple of points of interest where she basically handed us over to the people associated with those places (art gallery and Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial). There was no guiding beyond getting us from point a to point b. And at the end we were told we had to pay a minimum of $25-50 USD which feels inappropriate for a tour this short and this lacking in information. I would advise against taking this tour (you can go to the same spaces yourself with the equivalent experience).
Really nice tour and great guide. Aline shared lots of great information and had amazing recommendations. Had a great time! I saw some reviews complaining that it wasn't free, but I was notified via whatsapp beforehand and agreed to the price ($25 USD. Most other tours are more expensive). Definitely worth it!
