I’m Mariana Markovic, a 28-year-old licensed tour guide with a passion for uncovering the hidden gems of Budva.**
With a background in Geography and years of experience as a flight attendant, I’ve traveled the world, but there’s no place like home. Now, I’m back in Montenegro to share the beauty of my homeland with visitors from around the globe.
I speak English and Turkish fluently, and my deep knowledge of Budva, combined with my love for storytelling, allows me to bring the city’s secrets and legends to life. My goal is to ensure that every tourist experiences Budva not just as a visitor, but as an insider. Join me as I reveal the mysteries of this enchanting city and make your visit truly unforgettable.
Mariana was great! Full of interesting information, and also fun. I highly recommended Mariana's tour to everybody.
I was the only participant on the tour. Mariana gave me her full attention and made the tour of Budva very special. She really knows the history of her city and her nation. Her presentation showed her national pride.
Mariana is a fantastic local guide. She shared the history and tons of personal locals information. The tour is a great pace, she is easy to understand, and she is happy to answer questions. She was also fantastic about offering more information and introduced us to our favorite dessert of our two week trip. Highly recommend this tour!
Mariana is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide for a tour around Budva Old Town. Mariana explains the history, culture, and stories in a way that is interesting, easy to follow, and very engaging. The group was small, only 4 of us, so we could take time asking questions and have thorough answers in return. Mariana took us to all the highlights of Old Town and pointed out little details along the way so we didn’t miss anything. Mariana suggested great places to eat, grab coffee, swim, and offered support with any aspect of travel in Kotor. I would also recommend doing the 9am time slot as it is a lot quieter in town and you’re able to walk around freely before it gets crowded. Highly recommend Mariana!!!
