Provided a lot of historic and cultural tips, as well as interesting information without being monotonous. I also appreciate that he protected me and gave me advice about how to survive at Addis. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and his passion for the city was evident from the start. He shared fascinating stories about Addis Ababa’s history, including its establishment by Emperor Menelik II, and its importance in African diplomacy, being the headquarters of the African Union. Each stop was brought to life with anecdotes and context that I would have missed if exploring on my own. The tour covered key landmarks like the National Museum of Ethiopia, where we saw the famous fossil, Lucy, and learned about Ethiopia’s ancient history. The visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral was another highlight, with its stunning architecture and historical significance. We also stopped by Entoto Hill for breathtaking panoramic views of the city, and our guide explained the importance of the surrounding mountains. We also went to the Market where I was exposed to the local trading of locals.

Great guide and person. Really cares about the experience of his guests. We took his offer to rent a car for the day (25 USD) to see more of the city. It was a good time.
