I love sharing the beauty of the city of Amsterdam with tourists and I am also a travel blog founder and spent my free time writing about my travel adventures such as solo traveling in Tanzania and Kenya, scuba diving with whale sharks in Thailand or becoming a scuba diving instructor in Bali.
Traveling and getting immersed in other cultures, understanding their ways of life and perspectives, is the missing pillar in our educational systems.
I believe that traveling should be a culturally immersive experience. Building bridges between countries and cultures while respecting mutual differences does not only benefit the traveler but also the hosting communities.
Pilar was a great tour guide. It was my first time in Amsterdam & her tour gave a great introduction to the city and its history.

Terrible experience, the guide never showed up nor notified me that she was canceling the tour, I was standing there in the rain for quite sometime, because I even arrived 20 minutes early... and waited for another 10 minutes past the starting time... sent her a message via the app (because she never reached out to provide me with any information, whereas all other guides in the guruwalk tours I've made, certainly have) but received no answer... in the end she sent me a message (after like 2 hours) saying it was my fault because I didn't receive her messages via WhatsApp or phone (sms), when she could of sent me a message through the app but that did not happen... just lame excuses from a person that clearly lacks professionalism... it's a shame because had I known, I could of taken another tour, as I really wanted to do it, but now thats not happening, as I'm leaving tomorrow and I just waisted my time with this one... just terrible...
