Unfortunatelly, we didn’t find the tour very interesting. Only sparse information and almost all stops were in stores/ cafes.
The tour was amazing! There are so many delicious things to eat outside the fort, at stalls that a tourist might not even notice at first glance. Raj was very personalised with his tour, if we already knew a dish, we simply went somewhere else and ate something new! During the whole time he provided us with interesting information and introduced us to nice and friendly people at the stands. It was all very informal, relaxed and damn tasty! We can only recommend the tour as an evening meal! If we had had more time in Jaisalmer we would have done it several times, it was so great!
Raj gave us a very thoughtful and interesting walking tour of the fort and beyond the fort. He explained many things about life, history, culture, food and current society. He answered all our questions thoughtfully. We learned very much and really felt like we had a much better understanding of Jaisalmer and this part of Rajasthan as a result. Thank you.

Highly recommend taking a tour with Rajiv. We did a 2 hour tour, mainly of the Jaisalmer fort. Inside the fort, he showed us the palaces, the Jain temples, and the homes and markets through smaller allies. We had delicious masala chai at his hotel/restuarant (Sunset Point Cafe) and finished the tour by visiting a Haveli just outside the fort. Warm hospitality! Rajiv also gave us great tips on places to eat and shop.
