Amaru

Our street food tour with Amaru today was incredible! It gave us an amazing taste of Peru’s diverse and delicious cuisine. Amaru took us to hidden gems we’d never have found on our own and introduced us to some unique dishes, including the iconic ceviche! The tour was thoughtfully designed, even accommodating vegetarians and pescatarians. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the true flavors of Peru!

This tour hits a number of the key street/cheap foods you should eat in Lima, and takes you to places you wouldn't see otherwise. Recommend!

Amaru was great at sharing raw and not sugar coated insights about Lima and its history, he explained the true challenges of the country and also historical struggles. He also does other tours that I wish I had time to attend

This food tour is a definite must do. The food was absolutely. Amaru is a great guide, friendly, professional, knowledgeable. Not only did he show us great food but also a side of Lima I wouldn't have gotten to see if I didn't do the tour with him. Walking through the busy markets exploring beyond the typical tourist places getting background information on the food and culture was amazing. After we finished the tour he actually didn't have another tour to rush to do he offered us another tour up sant Cristóbal Hill which was also great. He went into the history and social problems of Lima and Peru. Thanks Amaru for the great time.
