This is an eye opening experience. If you want to see not only the pretty, grand, beautiful monuments but also real lives of the most hidden corners of society, you would learn a lot and feel a lot. It felt like a genuine and non-touristic experience.
I booked only four or five hours before the tour was supposed to start, and the Guide did not show up. He had looked for his listings the night before, but not the morning of. I hired an auto rickshaw and looked at the wall art myself.
This tour definitely revealed the gems hidden from the eyes of an everage tourist, so the name the tour has is fully applicable! We saw the things that an average tour wouldn't show you. J.D. is real guru - a teacher with great knowledge about all the food and cultures of Delhi. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
