Hi ! I am Nadir . I can describe myself as a very friendly, easy going, fun, tenacious, helpful guy :) I am a licensed spanish tour guide. I am looking forward to meeting new people on my tour :)
Hello, I am Nadir, an official tour guide in Istanbul. I studied at the University of Cappadocia and specialized as a tour guide in the Spanish language. I have spent several years in Spain and I know almost the entire country except the archipelagos. I am a person of attentive, kind and friendly character, enthusiastic about my work, this city and its history and culture, and I would like to introduce you to…
The must-see Istanbul tour!
Istanbul is architecturally one of the most interesting cities in the world . Its inhabitants live within walls built by Byzantine emperors and pray in Ottoman-era mosques. Istanbul, a city of three cultures and surrounded by seas, offers visitors much to see.
On this tour you will also receive tips and recommendations so that you can enjoy your stay in the best possible way.
What will we see during the tour?
OUTSIDE VISITS. We do not enter the following places:
The guide reserves the right to make minor changes to the tour if he/she deems it necessary due to the celebration of an exceptional event, or due to the closing days of the places visited or for weather reasons. Mosques are closed on Friday mornings, the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays and Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays.
Tip: This tour is not affected by this because it is completely outside and we do not enter the places on the tour, but in general for your stay I recommend you wear appropriate clothing or bring sarongs or scarves because to enter some religious places such as mosques you are required to wear appropriate clothing, which consists of covered knees for men and women, and also covered shoulders and head for women. In some places they provide scarves.
ATTENTION CRUISE PASSENGERS🛳️🛳️🛳️You are welcome! This tour starts promptly at 10:30 at Sultanahmet Square. The time between the announced docking time of a cruise ship and the start of the tour must be at least 2 hours. The disembarkation process in Istanbul and the distance between the port and the starting point of the tour also requires a considerable amount of time as well as the use of public transportation that is usually not familiar to newly arrived clients. Therefore, this tour is not suitable for clients with an expected arrival time of 8:30 or later. If your ship is scheduled to dock after that time, you will not have time to arrive. I ask you to be responsible. DO NOT book if you are not sure that you will arrive on time.
All this and much more!

IMPORTANT:
A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to take place.
Please book only if you are going to come. This tour has limited places. If for any reason you change your mind and cannot or do not want to attend, cancel your reservation through the confirmation email. By cancelling you allow other people to participate and enjoy the tour. This is a professional tour. I ask you to be as responsible as I am in my job.
MAXIMUM 6 PEOPLE PER RESERVATION OR GROUP: Reservations for groups of more than 6 people or reservations divided into several groups will not be accepted. Reservations for several subgroups of more than 6 people will be cancelled de facto, since there are daily limits for participating in the tour. For groups of more than 6 people, I recommend booking a private tour.
In the event that groups of more than 6 people or fragmented reservations are detected at the meeting point, the guide reserves the right to charge €10 per person at the start of the tour.
The minimum amount expected per participant is €10 per person, as stated on the booking page.
The pace of the tour is demanding. Istanbul is not a flat city and the tour involves walking at a brisk pace for at least 3 hours. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
I hope you enjoy this tour!
You can find me on the street between the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, NEXT TO THE DERVISH CAFE. At that point look for THE WHITE UMBRELLA with the Spanish flag, in the area where the wooden benches are.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
