Hello! My name is Felisa and I am an English journalist and philologist. History and art are my great passions. Discover with me the secrets and curiosities of the city of Bath. Will you join me?
Discover the city of Bath from its origins to the present day. Travel back in time from Roman times to the present day with an essential two-hour walk through the streets of this city declared a World Heritage Site .
On this tour of Bath in Spanish you will discover the essential sites of the charming city of Bath:
We will begin the tour at the Rebecca Fountain , next to the Gothic Abbey of Saints Peter and Saints . There we will learn more about its origins and some curiosities about this Anglican temple that will not leave you indifferent.
We will make a brief stop in front of one of the oldest restaurants in England , where you will discover the history of the city's most typical dessert.
On our third stop we will visit the exterior of the ancient Roman baths , known as Aquae Sulis , whose origins date back to the Celts.
We'll follow in the footsteps of these historic waters by visiting the exterior of The Cross Bath and Thermae Bath Spa , two fully functioning spas that continue to harness the beneficial properties of bath water.
We will enter the oldest part of the city of Bath, where we will visit the Royal Theater and the Mineral Waters Hospital , an old hospital, financed by wealthy families, whose thermal waters attracted many patients during the 18th century.
We will walk through the streets where Jane Austen lived to reach our fourth stop: the Royal Crescent , perhaps the most famous Georgian architectural complex in the United Kingdom. We will conclude our tour by crossing Pulteney Bridge and returning to the Abbey.
If you want to see all these places and have a good time, don't hesitate to book this tour. See you very soon!
I'll be next to Rebecca's fountain and the London Camera Exchange store.
