Hello Walker! 😎👋 My name is Raúl, nice to meet you! I am a tour guide accredited by ETOA (European tourism association). Born in Valencia (Spain) and with 8 years in Italy. 6 years as a tour guide experience. They say that an Erasmus scholarship changes a person's life, and boy did it change mine😅. I arrived in Italy in 2016 to complete my studies in Art History at the University of Padova, and later I did a master's degree in the same city. In Venice, it would be 6 years that I have been accompanying and showing what is for me the most beautiful city in all of Italy, and in my tours what I try to convey is the passion for art and history that I carry within me. And it has been more than 2 years living in the same city of Venice, so with me you will discover areas that only residents of the city know, outside of the hustle and bustle of the central streets of the city. It will be a pleasure for me to accompany you on your visit to Venice.
In the next tour I intend to show in 2 hours the most important neighborhood in the entire city of Venice
We will discover two of the most important treasures of the San Marcos neighborhood, such as the Gran Teatro della Fenice and the emblematic San Marcos Square . I will also take you into alternative corners that are completely unknown to tourists.
On the tour we will also talk about curiosities , ghost islands and details that tourists overlook but of great relevance in the history of the city.
Finally, I consider that my role as a tourist companion is, apart from teaching you the history and culture of Venice, to help you make your stay in Venice as fruitful as possible. That's why I will give you all kinds of tips, advice and recommendations ...
I assure you that you will not regret it!
Meeting point: Campo di Sant Agnese (Dorsoduro neighborhood), this square is located next to the Swiss consulate and behind the Academia museum. They will identify me with a guide accreditation and a guide flagpole with the flag of Venice
