Experienced tour guide of the great city of Berlin. Originally from the UK I have lived in Germany for over a decade and have been working as a tour guide in Berlin since 2022. History is my specialism, but I know Berlin backwards both old and new. - whther its culture, museums, the Berlin story, or just general attitude, I have some top tips for you on how to live the best of Berlin.
Early evening introduction to Kreuzberg with turkish dinner and beers along the way.
This tour is designed to introduce you to a couple of special bars and Turkish eateries in Berlin's liveliest district. We start at Schlesisches Tor Ubahn and walk down the road for a first drink in a vintage style Berlin bar. Just a small beer or soft drink here before we move onto one of the best Kebab and Turkish-style canteens in Berlin. After a hearty meal and warming tea we wonder up main street of bars and life in Kreuzberg: Oranienstr. Here we stop for a tiny desert and find a traditional Berlin Kneipe for a last drink together. I leave you with some recommendations for other things to do in the area, but you are welcome - indeed encouraged - to carry on your night together.
Meet Point: Just inside of Schlesisches Tor Ubahn main entrance. (at the bottom of the staris - street level)
Duration: 2 to 2.5 hours.
Costs: 10 to 30 € - (10 € fee in advance + whatever you spend)
Unlike many street food tours this is not an all expenses paid trip, where you have to eat what has been pre-ordered. The fee for this tour is just to cover the fees for the guide. The idea here is that we take you to some great places and give you some advice, but ultimately what and how much you eat and drink is up to you.
Cash Only - cards are not accepted at any of our stops!
- Important note: This tour requires a minimum of two participants. If less than two people have signed up the tour will be cancelled the night before. -
Just inside of Schlesisches Tor Ubahn main entrance. (at the bottom of the staris - street level) I will be wearing a tweed cap
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
