Hi, I'm Kanan! An experienced and licensed tour guide from Amman, Jordan! I am interested and knowledgeable about culture and history and over the past 30 years I have guided over 3000 tours across the whole country from Um qais in the north to Petra in the south. I am here to provide you with the best walking tour experience in Amman and will do my best to make your day and your entire stay in our beautiful city more enjoyable.
Amman: A Journey Through Time.
Embark on an incredible Storytelling of Amman's history and an enchanting journey through Amman, a city where ancient whispers blend with the bustle of modern life.
Our tale begins at the dawn of civilization, at the top the ancient Amman Citadel. a sentinel of history offering panoramic views and tales of civilizations long past. We should meet in front of the restaurant "Dar Na'meh" at the top of the Citadel. We then will enter the Citadel and complete a full tour inside which will take us around one our and half.
Afterwards, Marvel at the grandeur of the Roman Theater, where the drama of antiquity still lingers in the air. As we meander through the city, the Nymphaeum Archaeological site unveils the Romans’ mastery of water, leading us to the heart of Amman’s daily life—the vibrant Vegetables and Spice Markets. Here, the air is rich with the scents of cumin and coriander, and the colors of fresh produce paint a canvas of local tradition.
The spiritual call from the Grand Husseini Mosque invites us to witness a place of peace and devotion, standing in contrast to the lively Al Bukhariyeh Market, where every item tells a story of Jordan’s rich cultural tapestry.
Our journey culminates at the Old Gold Market and a taste of Amman's best Kunafah at Habiba sweets shop.
And so, our story concludes, but the journey through Amman is eternal, Join us, and become a part of Amman’s living narrative.
I will be in front of the restaurant wearing a white cap.
