The Et'hem bey mosque is almost entirely covered in fine paintings, and it constitutes one of the rare vestiges of the Ottoman past of the Albanian capital. These motifs, in a very colorful style and richly decorated with mural paintings, highlight the architectural taste inspired by the tradition of Sufi mysticism.
The Skanderbeg Square is the main plaza in the centre of Tirana, Albania. The square is named after the Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu. The total area is about 40,000 square metres. The Skanderbeg Monument dominates the square.
It's a pedestrian street, with trees on both sides, and so many cafes and restaurants, you can find Tirana castle in this street and Toptani mall at its end .. it's really nice for a walk or a drink
The neighborhood of the “New Bazaar” (Pazari i Ri) is one of the coolest places in Tirana. It is a pleasant pedestrian area with two markets, shops, restaurants and café terraces. The neighborhood benefited from a major renovation in 2016.
