I will be in front of Duke Mihailo ( Knez Mihailo) monument - Republic square
Starting point of tour. Tourist will be able to hear brief introduction about Serbia and interesting facts about current location. Also tourist will see central Republic square half surrounded by National Museum and National Theatre.
Parallel pedestrian street with Knez Mihailo pedestrian zone. Very urban part with coffee bars and restaurants combined with beautiful ane elegant buildings from the beginning of 20 th century . Main idea in this area is to feel so called Belgrade coffee culture and to hear explanation about this positive phenomenon.
Kosancic circle is bohemian part of city and also very quiet location just 5 minutes away from Knez Mihailo street. Tourist will see remains of former City Library which was destroyed during second world war, Saborna church, Question mark restoran ( oldest building in Belgrade ) and much more. Those monumental objects and locations will be followed by historic facts and local legends.
Tourist will enter Kalemegdan park and learn about park history . Also you will learn the meanings of turkish word Kale and Megdan. On the way toward Belgrade fortress we will pass by Monument of the gratitude to France and you will learn more about Serbian french friendship in First World War.
Belgrade fortress is historic and monumental tourist place where you will see several gates which were mostly built by Otomans. Then we will enter upper part of the fortress where we are going to visit Damad Ali Pasha turbe and then most attractive part , main plateu with Statue of the Victor ( most famous symbol of Belgrade). On Victor plateu you will see amazing panoramic view of Sava river confluence into Danube and panoramic view of Great War island, New Belgrade and Zemun. And more.....
