For six years I worked as a teacher in Buenos Aires. Now I live in Rome and study its fascinating history. I hope to convey to visitors what has captivated me in this imposing city!
This tip-based, Spanish-language tour will reveal the great secrets of St. Peter's Square and Castel Sant'Angelo.
The group will have around 15 participants , so that we can enjoy a more personalized experience. Discover the enigmas of the Vatican and explore its surroundings!
We will cross the Sant'Angelo Bridge , covered in travertine marble, and admire the statues of the ten angels that narrate the Passion of Christ; we will stop at the Sant'Angelo Castle ; we will walk along Via della Conciliazione , from where we will have one of the best views of the Vatican ; we will pass under the Passeto di Borgo , the secret passageway that saved the Borgias and the Medici; we will look out at the tower of the controversial Vatican Bank . We will conclude in the wing of the "Charlemagne Arm" (Vatican), guarded by the Swiss Guard , after crossing St. Peter's Square and appreciating its Egyptian obelisk and its monumental fountains.
On this tour you will discover one of the most emblematic areas of Western history. We look forward to seeing you there!
We will meet at Piazza di Ponte Sant´Angelo. From that corner we will cross the bridge towards Castel Sant´Angelo. Our guide named Diego will be waiting for you wearing a beige hat.
