For six years I worked as a teacher in Buenos Aires. Now I live in Rome and study its fascinating history. I hope to convey to visitors what has captivated me in this imposing city!
On this tip-based, Spanish-language tour we will visit the most essential and photographed points of interest in the center of classical and baroque Rome.
The group will have around 15 participants , so that we can enjoy a more personalized experience.
We will start our walk at Campo de' Fiori , the market where Giordano Bruno was burned alive; we will go to Piazza Navona , famous for its fountains, sculptures and buildings, and built on top of a stadium for sports competitions and gladiator fights; we will marvel at the Pantheon of Agrippa, ancient temple of all the gods; we will pass by the Italian Parliament , the Temple of Hadrian , Egyptian obelisks and the Column of Marcus Aurelius that tells of the battles won by the emperor; we will cross the Alberto Sordi shopping gallery ; and we will culminate at the iconic Trevi Fountain.
This tour is essential to learn about the history, art and legends of Rome in the most entertaining way and as no one has ever told it to you before.
We will meet in front of the Fontana di Campo de' Fiori. Our guide named Diego will be waiting for you wearing a beige hat.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
