I was born in Lagos all the time hearing stories from my uncle who was the curator of a local church. I entered a History course at the University of Braga, between 2012 and 2016. After finishing that course, I began to investigate everything that my uncle had taught me in documents, books, of course I was upset. But I can say that all the information you gave me was accurate. I also learned from some scholars that I felt they had the same passion for research and for this city. I was lucky to meet these people as they were always a reliable source. I launched the Lagos Walking Tour Project in 2018. Lagos, and the entire Algarve, have always been known for beautiful beaches and exquisite cuisine. The idea of me creating this project is to be able to give another offer and cultural perspective in addition to all the sun and beaches.
The idea here is to offer you an experience more than the sun and the beach, so in the end, you will look to Lagos with a completely new perspective. And at the same time, help you to plan your stay in the area.
We will talk about the Algarve fauna and flora. If you chose the morning tour, you would have the opportunity to see the fish, seafood, fruit, vegetables, and traditional pastry from the region. Morning or afternoon you can contemplate one of the outstanding rooftops in Lagos.
In a fun and relaxed way, you can meet the urban evolution of the area and the importance of this town in World history. Will reveal to you the history, stories, myths, economy, and society. Celtic iron age will be revealed in where they found Lacobriga: The first urban nucleus, objects, and way of Living. Found where the Romans settled down, their activities, and archaeological finds. You will meet the Middle Ages Wall and urban Trace, which was built by the Portuguese.
