From the Roman colony Barcino, founded in 15 BC, to the architectural explosion of Modernism in 1888!
What can you expect from this guided tour? A fun tour full of interesting anecdotes, insider information about Catalan traditions, our festivals and of course, a historical background to complete the whole Experience .
Where do we start? From the beginning, of course! Along the ancient Roman walls, we will walk from the Old Gothic Quarter, through the medieval streets of El Born, and we will end our tour admiring the rise of Barcelona's Modernism since the end of the 19th century.
Halfway through the tour , you will be able to experience our visit through the 5 senses . How? By walking through El Born, where we will find unique examples of artisanal food and listen to the local sounds of this great city.
Just before finishing our Free Tour, we will enjoy a stroll through the Ciutadella Park, our largest garden in the city centre dating back to 1888.
