We are Héctor and Ricardo, born in Campeche, both local tour guides and history teachers of the city. We'll take you on a two-hour walk to fall in love with the picturesque and colorful architecture of this 500-year-old city. We will walk among the real stories of pirates, the Mayan heritage and many recommendations for local restaurants and drinks :D! Hectourcito Tour Guides offers this unique experience in the coastal city of San Francisco de Campeche, a hidden treasure within the Yucatan Peninsula. If you are discovering Valladolid, Chichén Itzá, Izamal, Mérida... don't miss the opportunity to spend a pleasant morning/evening here.
Yes we have tours in Spanish! Just send us a message with the number of people and the time you want (those that appear in English) to confirm your reservation. It is important that you do this to check availability :)
Héctor Palí and Ricardo Pinzón are "El Hectourcito" (-ito means small in Spanish... short but very pretty!) and we offer you this Free Walking Tour about the history of this fortified city, San Francisco de Campeche: Mayan civilizations, pirates, gossiping neighbors from colonial times, ancient churches and legends of ghosts and witchcraft.
You will hear gossip at the following stops:
▶️ Sea Gate
▶️ Main Square
▶️ Cathedral
▶️ Sweet Name of Jesus Church
▶️ 59th Street
▶️ Earth Gate
We are tourist guides certified by the Ministry of Tourism, history lovers and two kids excited to "gossip" about our city.
I hope you take the opportunity with us, it is not only about knowing the history of Campeche, but also its people and enjoying making new friends in the southeast of Campeche c:
