Visiting the local handicraft market will give you a better insight on the Fijian cultural background on local craftsmanship from various village communities. Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple
This unique South Indian temple, the largest of it's kind in the southern hemisphere, reflects an architectural style rarely seen outside India, and houses sacred statues designed by craftspeople brought over from India. This tour will give an insight to the first indentured laborers that arrived in Fiji to work in cotton and sugar cane plantations in the early 1870s.
