My name is Youssef; I'm an official tour guide (full-time job), and guiding visitors has always been my passion. It represents the rich history and variety of culture and traditions we have in Morocco. It is all that I have been about since I quit my university back in 2017, and I'm lucky enough to do what I love the most.
We will convene at the majestic Koutoubia Tower. From there, we will venture into the labyrinthine alleyways, providing an up-close glimpse into the historic Medina of Marrakech and the authentic lifestyles of its Moroccan residents.
Along the way, we will encounter several significant landmarks, such as tomp of founder of Marrakech (Youssef Ibn Tachfin )as well as bab aganou one the most well known gate of city of Marrakech, to the KASBAH all the way to Jewish quarter throughout a local neighborhood, eventually arriving at where the splendid El Bahia Palace awaits our exploration.
Our journey will also take us through the small alleyway of the medina before culminating in the heart of the Medina at Jamaa El Fna, the main square.

El badi palace built at the end of the sixteenth century by the sultan Ahmed al-Mansour to commemorate the victory of the Battle of the Three Kings against the Portuguese.
The Mellah of Marrakesh was created by decree of the Sultan Abdallah al-Ghalib of the Saadian dynasty in 1558, outside of the walls of El Badi Palace. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the Mellah was one of the main commercial areas of the city, and it was a walled quarter, with its gates closed at night.
Bahia palace is most famous for its decoration. Its walls feature stucco carved with Arabic inscriptions, geometric patterns, arabesques, and muqarnas. Its floors are paved with marble and zellij tiles
