Free Walking Tour Nürnberger Altstadt (Sebalder Teil)

The tour will take about 2,5 hours. We will see all the main sights of the old city center of Nuremberg. Besides legends, historic facts and information about the culinary highlights of the city, I will talk about franconian culture and the life in the city. We will mainly talk about the medieval times of Nuremberg, but also about the darker history while 3rd Reich and how the city worked through that part of its past (trials, city of human rights etc). I also love to give you recommendations for your stay (restaurants, what to do, nice cities nearby...)

• Hauptmarkt und Schöner Brunnen/Main market and beautiful fountain
• Altes Rathaus/old townhall
• Nürnberger Kaiserburg/Imperial Castle of Nuremberg (April till October including a little walk through the beautiful castle gardens)
• Haus von Albrecht Dürer/House of Albrecht Dürer
• Kirche St. Sebald/church of St Sebald
• Weißgerbergasse (Most beautiful street of the old city center)
• Henkersteg/hangmans bridge
• Bratwurstmuseum
